About isostasy

Our name

We adopted the name isostasy for the business because it expresses the idea of maintaining a balance. In this case, the balance between commercial interests and the future of our shared environment.

The Team

The consultancy team is led by David Prescott, founder of Isostasy. David is a Chartered Electrical Engineer, member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology. A graduate in environmental studies he also holds the Diploma in Pollution Control from the Open University.

David is a member of the IET's 'Engineering a Sustainable Future' professional network.

David Prescott is listed as a Chartered Consultant at www.charteredconsultant.co.uk.
The company works in close association with Safety Assurance Services Ltd, providing environmental support to the safety case studies, which are their specialist area of expertise.
